Frequently Asked Questions:

What do I need to bring?

If you have ridden, bring your normal gear. If you haven't, long pants and closed toe shoes. Gym shoes or shoes with a low heel will be fine while you decide if this is the sport for you. We have helmets here you can use for the first few lessons.

Can family watch lessons?

Of course! As long as they are quiet. We don't want anyone learning to be disrupted.

Is your indoor heated?

No, however if your child (or you) are dressed appropriately, it's not too bad!

Do you have trails?

No, we do not have trails.

Can we ride outside?

We do have an outdoor arena. Your instructor will decide if you are capable of riding outside.

What do I need to bring to camp?

Closed toe shoes, long pants, water, lunch or snacks (riders get hungry after riding), clothes you don't mind getting dirty or ruined (some days we use paint!), riding gear if you have it.

I rode as a kid, I want my kid to learn, can I ride while they learn?

Absolutely. You will need to take a trial lesson to place you on the best horse. Then you can go into our leasing program while your child takes lessons.

Can I come for a barn tour?

We don't offer barn tours. Our instructors and grooms are busy helping students and giving them instruction. We find the best way to test us out is to try a lesson. You are under no obligation to continue if you don't like us!

Can I just come out and pet the horses?

We are a small/private facility and unfortunately, are not able to accommodate random visits. If you need quality horse time, sign up for a lesson!

Can we do every other week lessons?

We do not offer every other week lessons. We require weekly lessons.
